As the curtain draws closer for the inauguration of the National President of the Grand Gedeh Association in the Americas, Mr. Tillman N. Collins, and his corps of officers, massive preparations are in the making to ensure the success of the events. Mr. Alphonso Z. Soe chairs the Organizing Committee.

According to the release from the Secretariat of the 2013 GGAA Committee, the President of the New England Chapter, Mrs. Payornnoh Dennis, accompanied Chairman Soe.

Chairman Soe inspected the Inaugural Hall on August 2, 2013 in Worcester, Massachusetts; it is the main venue of the inaugural activities. Also joining the inspection was former 2007 GGAA Presidential contender and former two-term Chapter President of the New England Chapter, Mr. Paye Dennis.

The release also noted that the Dennis’ are a close ally to the current President of the GGAA. The relationship, as cited, is said to bet dated as far back as 2007 during GGAA’s General Elections where now President Collins was on the ticket of Mr. Paye Dennis.

Upon arrival at the venue, Management of the Renaissance Function Hall welcomed GGAA’s visiting team and pledged their willingness to work with the committee in any way possible to make the occasion a success. Briefed discussions were heard with the Inaugural Committee at which time a tour were taken with RFH Management.  The Inaugural Team was told that a special stage was in a finishing stage to suit the official induction ceremonies of this year GGAA’s new corps of officers. Many, as the release also noted, have predicted that the 2013 inaugural to be one of the biggest events ever to be hosted in New England.

Following the inspection, Chairman Soe expressed profound appreciation to the New England Chapter President for her tireless efforts thus far in making sure that preparations are on time. The selection of the Renaissance Function Hall for this year GGAA Inaugural Events clearly suited the occasion. Chairman Soe lauded.

In addition to the main inaugural venue, arrangements are also being concluded for the traditional Friday night arrival of guests attending the inaugural events. The Crown Castle Plaza Hall as well the famous Green Hill Park recreational facility will be climaxed of the two days activities.
