Report reaching Liberia Public Radio says supporters of Montserrado county District #10 Representative Yekeh Kolubah have assembled at his residence in Monrovia to resist arrest threat issued by Liberian ex-military generals to surrender himself to them in 72 hours.
The Ex-military generals issued the warning to Montserrado District 10 representative Yekeh Kolubahon Tuesday after the lawmaker failed to respond to citation issued him Monday by Montserrado county attorney to clarify statement he made against president George Weah on Sunday.
Representative Yekeh Kolubah supporters who gathered early Wednesday morning told LPR correspondent in the area they are prepared for any arrest attempt the ex-military generals.
The lawmaker has been critical on the Weah led government for what he termed ‘bad governance’.
It is however unclear whether the lawmaker will be indicted by government or effectuate arrest warrant on him for his recent comments.
