In helping to improve soccer in the country,the Liberia Football Association (LFA) has presented Trophies and medals to the Sub-associations across the country as the national 3rd division is expected to kick off.
The presentation according to a release by the FA was done on Thursday following a roundtable discussion with chairpersons of the Sub-associations in Monrovia.
According to the communication, Third Division Champions in each county will pocket L$50,000.00,while runners up will get 10,000.00.Liberian Dollar while Medals will be given to register players and technical team of the finalist.
The LFA communication also said Community League Champions in each County will get walk away with 25,000.00 LD, while the second place will receive 8000.00 LD respectively.
Each County champion plus the runners up, except for Montserrado County which will feature three teams,will play in the Regional Playoff to secure qualification for the National Third Division Playoff.
The winners of this year National Third Division Playoff will get L250,000.00 as cash prize plus medals,while the second winner will receive L$120,000.00 the report further said.
The Champions will be decided on a best out of three rule.
Receiving the trophy on behalf of the Sub association chairman’s, Nimba County Businessman Tomah Seh Floyd Sr, lauded the leadership of Mustapha Raji for the step take so far.
