President George Manneh Weah has made additional appointments in government affecting ministries, agencies and commissions as well as the University of Liberia (UL) take immediate effect though subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate where applicable.
Those appointed include Dr. Dr. Julius Sawolo Nelson President, University of Liberia replacing Dr. Ophelia I. Weeks.
Students of the University of Liberia have accused Dr. Weeks of being responsible for some of the challenges the entity is facing.
