At least 25 Persons have been made homeless as a result of fire that gutted a five bedroom house.
The incident took placed in the Far East Community in the central Liberian capital of Gbarnga , Bong County.
However, some victims of the disaster, Eric, Mamie Giddings and Joseph Yantah said they are yet to establish the actual cause of the fire as there was no combustible materials connecting with their structures.
They said for cooking purposes, they usually used the outside of the building, but wonder where the fire came from.
“We just saw the fire blazing from our house after we came from burying our aunty and we could not take anything from the house”, they told Liberia Public Radio Bong County correspondent .
The value of properties destroyed in the incident is estimated at over LRD$126,000.00 and USD $360.00.
Meanwhile, the victims are appealing to well-meaning Liberians in and outside of Liberia as well as the Liberian government and philanthropists to come to their aid.
