Liberia Football Association signs cooperation agreement with Qatari FA

The Football Associations of Liberia (LFA) and Qatar (QFA) have signed a cooperation agreement. 

According to a communication from the LFA, President Mustapha Raji signed on behalf of Liberia while QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani signed on behalf of Qatar. 

The five years cooperate agreement was signed on 18 December 2019 in Doha. 

LFA release explained that there will be technical and professional exchanges, which will include the junior, senior and futsal teams and the development of coaches signed in the agreement. 

The parties will also establish technical and professional exchange programs where QFA and LFA personnel are provided access to the expertise, courses and facilities. 

It will include general management, game development and talented player development, marketing, football management and technical direction, women and youth football, futsal, sports science and medicine (football), research on football matters and rules. 

Both LFA and QFA  will also collaborate through management and officials, technical experts, coaches, referees and players thru competitions organized by them, technical and educational courses and seminars and conferences.   

Liberia and Qatar will cooperate to play international friendlies at all levels (male and female), which will be subjected to terms and conditions.  

 The release further stated that both parties will engage in reciprocal consultation in relation to specific issues and international relations particularly those with Fifa.
