The Bong County health Team in partnership with Fixed Amount Reimbursement Agreement (FARA) has Completed a three day phase two of its quarterly review meeting in Zota District, headquarters Belefanai Bong County.
The quarterly review meeting brought together over fifty Health workers of the forty three health facilities in Bong and the process was been supported by fixed amount reimbursement.
It was aimed at looking at some improvements and successes with challenges for the next gathering in the County,and also look at technique in justifying some key Challenges that health workers encounter doing the period of discharging their duties in various public health facilities in Bong County.
Speaking at the occasion, the Director for Community health Department in Bong County, Mr. Alphonso W. Logan said, the gathering was basically deliberated on the careful look at the eight pillars of (FARA FOUND PROJECT),
which includes; Delivery in health facility, postpartum, immunization of children under the one year and access weight and height of sick children with family planning, and providing Counseling for clients and amongst others.
Mr. Kofa told LPR Bong County correspondent that the health team lost hundred fifty seven thousand (157.000. 00 USD) due to its inability to achieve two of the eight pillars under the period reported.
Also making remark at the opening of the three day events, Bong County health officer Dr. Alphonso Yaiah admonished Health workers across the county to attache professionalism to their Job,.
He further noted that Bong County has lost its position as number one performing County in Liberia as a result of poor performance at various Health facilities in the county.
The quarterly meeting took place recently in Belefanai Zora District, Bong County.
