A German National who is believed to be the Log Yard Manager of the International Constant Company (ICC) was discovered dead early Wednesday January 22, 2020 at his residence in the logging yard in Buchanan, Grand Bassa.
Eye witnesses told FrontPageAfrica this morning that Mr. Juergen Schedema died after being shot in the stomach by unknown gun men by 1 am on Wednesday in the company’s yard.
The body of the victim was being taken to the Abraham Roberts funeral home as investigation continues.

Mrs. Linda Cumb Schedema, wife of the deceased explained that she and her husband were together on Tuesday night between the hours of 10 pm to 11pm. “My husband later left me at our little shop near the company’s yard where we live and went to bed because he had some work to do and I was still making business “.
Mrs. Schedema further said that by 12am when she closed the shop and decided to go to her husband along with some of the workers, she heard noise that arm robbers were in the yard and every one were finding place to hide.
The victim’s wife asserted that there were many other foreigners in the yard but only her husband was discovered dead behind the compound.
One eyewitness told local journalist in Bassa that the German may have had a disagreement with a local business partner in the days leading to his death.
It can be recalled in 2007 a foreign manager of the Liberia Agricultural Company Michael Bruno was killed by unknown gunmen in compound #3 Grand Bassa county.
Investigations continue.
