Gwan’s Foundation gifts Several Schools in Montserrado and Nimba

Over 1000 students from various public and private schools in Nimba and Montserrado counties have benefited from educational materials gifted by a humanitarian organization known as the Gwan’s Foundation .

The foundation is  named in honor of its  CEO’s late father Mr.Lawrence Gwan who was an Educator in the Sanniquellie Mahn School Systems with the aim of supporting School going kids in Liberia. 

Speaking to cross section of students during the distribution of copy books, pencils and pens at various campuses in Monrovia, the organization  CEO Mr. Augustus Gwan encouraged the kids to take their education serious so as to properly represent their family and the nation. 

Mr. Gwan who himself is a student studying in China enter the country in early December on vacation and to put smiles on the faces of his fellow young Liberians through the distribution of assorted  educational materials. 

According to the CEO,  the distribution of these materials is part of the Foundation regular education component.

The Gwan’s Foundation early last year organized a spelling Bee competition among ten elementary schools in sanniquellie and distributed copy books on some students and awarded scholarship as a way of empowering and encouraging the students to take their education serious.

Schools that benefted from the distribution in Sanniquellie in Nimba included Airfield Zone Two Public school, Dahnlorpa and Vehyipa public Schools, while the F- Sham and other schools in Monrovia and it’s environ benefited. 

Receiving the items, the students lauded the Gwan’ s Foundation and it’s CEO for thinking about them and ask God to replenish what every he has used. 

For their parts, school administrators also appreciated the effort of the Gwan Foundation adding that their donations was done at the right time, when many students copy books and pencils where not in good conditions to continue to with  till the end of the school  year.
