For humiliating a civilian, Armed Forces Of Liberia places two on punishment list.

Following the disrobing of two officers of the Armed Forces of Liberia AFL recently, another two have been placed on punishment list for their involvement in the manhandling of a civilian in Bong County.

 PFC Kollie Dennis and Benjamin according to report will face Field grade non judicial punishment in keeping with article 15 of the uniform code of military justice.

Speaking during a press conference in Gbarnga Bong County, The acting judge advocate general of AFL, Major Thomas Bombo said the two officers participated and facilitated the cruelty and maltreatment of a motorcyclist who was scarp naked for allegedly stealing a motorcycle belonging to SSGT Musa Keita Jr.

“After an investigation conducted, two officers of the armed forces of Liberia SSGT Musa Keita jr and CPL Jugbe Peter have been disrobed from the AFL”. 

It can be recalled on February 21, 2020 a man identify as Daigai woodh a cyclist of Totota lower Bong County was undressed and paraded through the principal streets of Gbarnga by SSGT Musa keita  jr and some members of the Armed forces of Liberia on grounds that he stole a motorbike belonging to Keita jr who were all assigned at the Camp Tubman Military Barracks in central Liberia.  

The discharge of SSGT musa Keita jr and CPL jugbe Peter from the AFL according to major Bombo, was in keeping with the new National Defense act of 2008 (section 7.7 of the Armed forces of Liberia standards, and for conduct which contravenes the Constitution of the Republic of Liberia.

Major Bombo reaffirmed the commitment of the AFL as forces for good and the people army.
