Sinoe Supt. angry over county Health team attempt to hide his identity after testing positive for COVID-19

 Local Health Authority of Sinoe County  through the County Health Officer on April 22, announce the first case Corona Virus, Covid-19 in Greenville, Sinoe County, victim which came up to be the superintendent of Sinoe county, Hon. Lee Nagbe Chea.

Making the disclosure on of the communities Radio station in Greenville, Dr. Jonathan Flomo County Health officer of Sinoe County Health Team Said that the county has recorded it first case but didn’t mention who it was, he stated that the patient was been observed after coming down with symptoms of Covid-19 and specimen were taken and sent to Monrovia where it was tested positive.

Dr. Flomo further told Liberia Public Radio Correspondent in Greenville that massive contact tracing has kick off immediately so as to stop the disease from further spreading. 

He then encouraged citizens to keep calm and take all precautionary measures and remain on the safe side.  

Our reporter said following the announcement, Superintendent Hon. Lee Nagbe phone-in to the same radio station informing citizens that he was the patient tested positive of the virus and frown at health authority for not announcing his name.

He then explain that he don’t know who he contracted the virus from but admit that he was in Monrovia beginning April 6.

 Superintendent Chea stated that he is actively collaborating with health authority in tracing people he came in contact with and asked citizens to keep him in their prayers and adhere to all of the preventive measures.

Superintendent Chea is the first person based in the south-east to be tested positive for COVID-19.
