The Christian Revival Church Association (CRCA) has initiated the process of distributing rice and oil to members of its churches and some community dwellers at Deport Road Community and Pipeline Road Church over the weekend.
According to the Administrator of CRCA, Vania M. Aggrey, encouraged members of the church to continue to trust God who has brought the church this far over the years and he will take them through this period of novel Coronavirus which is a global pandemic.
Madam Aggrey stated that Liberians should not forget about God and the plan he has toward them despite they are not assembly in the church edifice as the result of the COVID-19, but they should obedient his word on a daily basis knowing he is the same God yesterday, today and forever.
She stressed that Liberians should not be panic over the current situation about COVID-19, however, they should followed the health protocols instituted through the Ministry of Health and the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NAPHIL) by the Liberian Government to prevent spread of the Coronavirus across the country.
She urged Liberians to execute every step of the preventive measures against COVID-19 especially in the process of hands washing regularly, using of the mouth and nose mask often and observing social distancing to prevent them from contracting the deadly disease.
Madam Aggrey explained that the food items were made available by some of their partners of CRCA to identify with their members at this critical time in the nation.
Meanwhile, the Project Coordinator of CRCA Yassah J. David said the distribution process of rice and oil started from Thursday and Friday this week respectively in Jungle Farm, Peter Town and Bong Town including Bassa Town as well as Calla Town.
Coordinator David stated that the church always like to identify with its members not just rice and oil distribution, but in other engagement as one family.
She noted that with the State of Emergency instituted by the Liberian Government recently, it is necessary to provide some food items such as rice and oil to help ease the burden on some family members of the church.
For his part, the Head of the Duport Road Church of CRCA, James Washington, expressed thank and appreciation for the gesture and asked God blessing upon those who made the food items available for them at this crucial time of this global pandemic.
Mr. Washington stated that God should multiple the works of their hands those who thought on them in Liberia when the whole world is through health crisis which has no cure now, but thank God for them to identify with their Liberian brothers and sisters in the house of God
