Nimba Disabled Community seeks for business partnership and empowerment

As it is often said that “Disability is not inability”, the Nimba County Disable Community is breaking the believe of many in Liberia that disabled people are only beggars. 

The Nimba County Disabled Community is seeking for partnership and support as they appeal to the public to help come to their aid to improve their businesses. 

Speaking to Liberia Public Radio Tuesday in Sanniquellie, the President of the Nimba Disable Community Ablestine Tozay called on citizens in and out of Nimba to help and promote their business to ensure that the can be self-reliance. 

Tozay explained that the Nimba Disabled Community is currently engage in pit sawing and the production of coal for sale, indicating that the proceed will be used to improve the lives of members of the disable community who hardly find food for themselves. 

The president of the disable community asserted that their intention as leaders is to find means that will stop members of the community from continue begging in the streets and do something that will empower them for life. 

About 125 bags of charcoal has been processed by Nimba disables community

He wants citizens to make business with them by buying their plank wish he said is a little over 400 pieces and  125 bags of charcoal.

Tozay maintained that the outbreak of the virus in the country is hindering their sales. 

The Nimba Disabled Community President used the occasion to laud the effort of an Italian organization known as Alfos for helping them with loan to help join start their business and follow their  good example.
