Amid the fight against coronavirus in the country, Nimba County former Senator Saye-Taayor A. Dolo has made another donation with cash, food and non-food items to various institutions in Sanniquellie.
Former senator Dolo on Friday May 22, donated LRD$ 60,000.00 ( Sixty Thousand Liberian dollars) to the Koloakeh women group in the Airfield Zone ll community in Sanniquellie as his contribution to their Town hall project.
Presenting the cash on behalf of Dolo Mrs. Joanna Yanzeh disclosed to the group that the contribution was in fulfillment of their request to the former lawmaker some time ago about their project.
She said that former Senator Dolo thanked the women group for the work done adding that it is easy to help people who take personal initiatives and pray that other communities will emulate their good example.
Accepting the amount on behalf of the group, Mrs. Janet Luogon thanked Mrs. Yanzeh and asked her to convey the group thanks and appreciation to Senator Dolo and promised that the money will be used for the intended purpose.
Recently former senator Dolo contributed rice, faucet buckets, Clorox and soap and other materials to the Sanniquellie disable community.
He mentioned that in these difficult times though small, his contribution will go some way in addressing some of their needs of the disable people.
At the Same time Dolo on Monday May 25 donated 10 bags of rice, 150 pcs of tide soap, 1 litre of Clorox and 10 pieces of face shields to the Sanniquellie Central Prison.
Other materials donated to the Prison includes 300 pieces of Latex gloves, and 400 pieces of Latex free syringe and needle.
