As part of fulfilling his overdue campaign promises, Bong county District#3 Representative Josiah Marvin Cole has presented dozens of solar-pane lights to residents of the district.
It can be recalled in 2018, the District # 3 lawmaker promised to make available over one thousand pieces of solar streets light for inhabitants of the district, a promise that finally came to realization over the weekend in the county.
Making the presentation to the district, the lawmaker said although the promise was overdue, but deem it prudent to fulfill no matter what the situation maybe
Rep. Cole described the fulfillment of the long awaited manifesto as a dream come true and than pledged his unflinching support to the citizenry.
According to him, the 200watts solar light is the most sophisticated light to be introduced in bong county.
He placed the estimated cost of the solar streets light to a little over us$58,000 and was fully sponsored from his pockets.
Cole who won on the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) arguably disclosed that his office has fulfilled 90%of the campaign promises made to the people of district #3 during the 2017 general elections.
He named the construction of the motorcyclists’ terminal on the LPMC road and a modern clinic in Jenepita as well as the provision of solar panel light in Gbarnga, as some of his Major campaign promises he has fulfilled in the course of three years.
Meanwhile Rep. Cole is calling on residents of the county to remain committed as his office strives to better their livelihood.
