Liberia: ALCOP Launches food distribution campaign in Monrovia

The All Liberia Coalition Party (ALCOP) has launched 40,000 United States Dollars nationwide food distribution against the fight of COVID-19 in Liberia.

According to the National Chairman of the party, Ansu V.S. Dulleh, the food distribution is intended to identify with Liberians in combating this deadly global pandemic COVID-19 from the country.

Chairman Dulleh made the statement Friday at a Press Conference in Monrovia June 12, 2020, when the party began distributing 1500 bags of rice in Montserrado County including various institutions across the county.

He asserted that the 40,000 United States Dollars were generated through the contribution of every member of the party around the nation and 3,000 bags of rice will be distributed in various counties across Liberia.

He added that the food distribution to the Liberian people is not intended for campaign as other are doing with their pictures on the food items, but this is to help Liberians during the fight the coronavirus.

Chairman Dulleh has revealed that ALCOP will contest the pending senatorial election in December, 2020 and the presidential election in 2023.

“ALCOP was established in 1997 and participated in every election but the 2023 presidential election, party will take State’s Power democratically” He said.

He indicated that ALICOP is a responsible political party which will not into critiquing the current leadership of the country un-necessary instead constructive engagement of national issues.

Chairman Dulleh stressed that ALCOP is grass-root party which identified with the ordinary people of Liberia and this  is the time for Liberians should rally  around the party to ensure that victory is achieved in 2023 presidential election.
