Deputy Secretary of the Liberian Senate, Jannave Verdier-Massaquoi has been confirmed COVID-19 positive, the Senate Press Director, Jalawa Tonpo has confirmed to Liberia Public Radio.
There are also reports that the Senate leadership is contemplating taking an observatory two-week break following the disclosure of a staff within the administration being positive for the coronavirus.
Meanwhile multiple sources have told Liberia Public Radio that a member of the legislature has also been tested positive for the virus.
