The Chairman of the Margibi Legislative Caucus and District #4 Representative Ben A. Fofana says there is no ‘division’ among members of the current   legislative Caucus.

He revealed that the members of the caucus are at peace and united, as there is no division among them; as such “they do not need someone who will come among them and have them divided again”.

The District #4 Lawmaker said they as leaders have to provide the information to the public because they have the capacity and right to make the decision referencing the upcoming 2020 senatorial election.

He added that the County was in disunity at leadership level for twelve years with members of the past Lawmakers figuring out former representatives Saah Gbollie, James Emmanuel Nuquay and Senator Roland C. Kaine among others as being on different sides at the time.

Rep. Fofana: “Even when we joined them in 2012 the same thing, only 2017 you made the determination as to who you want to be in leadership in this County and from 2017 to current there is no division among us; we are working together my problem is a problem to all Lawmakers their problem will also be my problem”.

He said this for the  first time Lawmakers in the County are coming together to make contribution to victims of disaster something he said is a clear indication that members of the current Caucus are united.

“That’s why it is very important my people that we must keep the peace in this County, we should not disturb the peace of this County” he urged Magibians.

According to him, it is during electioneering period people come and try to divide the citizens but said the citizens have the final saying.

He explained that the people of Margibi made the decision in 2017 and if they think that the decision they made in 2017 is not a good one then they should go and alter it.

He indicated that the storm disaster troubles them as leader and he in particular does not sleep at night on grounds that his people are in trouble.
