Gbarnga Central prison compound superintendent Saydu Bi Kuyateh has been dismissed and forwarded to the Liberia national police headquarters in Monrovia for thorough criminal investigation

In an telephone interview on a local radio station in Bong County, Tuesday  Assistant Minister for corrections and rehabilitation, Eddie Tarawillie, explained that Mr. Kuyateh was sacked for allegedly receiving 13grams of gold for the alleged release of a convict only identified as Folly and other notorious criminals overnight.

It can be recalled; on June 6, 2020 the stipendiary magistrate of salala his honor John B. Saaley sentenced Folly and Mark Kollie to one year in imprisonment for burglary and theft.

But to the disbelieve of people in Bong county superintendent Saydu Kuyateh released folly and others at night hours in exchange of gold and money in order to keep his ‘pot-boiling’.
