The National Teachers Association of Liberia (NTAL) has presented 15 motorcycles cost more than 18,000 United States Dollars to its local presidents of NTAL in the 15 counties.

According to President of NTAL Mary M. Nyumah, these motorcycles are intended to empower the local presidents to enhance their supervision across the country.

President Nyumah made the statement Thursday when she presented the 15 motorcycles to them at the association’s Headquarters in Sinkor.

According to her, the empowerment of their local presidents is critical toward improving the working condition of the association in the various districts, towns and villages in the counties.

She noted that local presidents of the association have been going through difficulties to travel in other parts of the counties due to bad condition across the country.

President Nyumah indicated that the empowerment of the local presidents of the association with mobility will go a long way to strengthen their works in the counties.

Meanwhile, the local President of Nimba County of NTAL   Henry N. Teah expressed thanks and appreciation to the Secretarial of the association on behalf of the local presidents for the gestures.

Mr. Teah stated that these motorcycles will go a long way to enhance the transportation situation which have been confronting them over the years

He stressed that the empowerment of the local presidents with motorbikes at this critical time will strengthen their operation in the counties.

He said the NTAL’s Secretarial was farsighted to make available these motorbikes  to       empower the local presidents to carry out the activities of the association in  the various counties in order to strengthen the education system in Liberia.
