Fire Disaster Claims 2 lives in Cape Mount

Report from Tienii town Tewor District Grand Cape Mount County says fire has claimed the lives of two persons in the area.

The report said fire disaster occurred early Monday about 1:45 am July 14, 2020, and burned a three bed room house to earth and instantly killing victim Hawa Kamara age 17.

Victim Kamara and her boyfriend Alieu Bangura were their first time meeting that night when such  tragic incident occurred.

According to the report, her boyfriend Alieu Bangura got burned severely but didn’t died on the spot but was rush to the Senje Health Center where he was pronounced dead late Monday evening July 14,2020.

Our correspondent said the cause of the fire has not been established and both Hawa and Alieu are from Sierra Leone but were residing in Grand Cape Mount County.

In another development, an unknown Hunter on the farm shot an 11-year-old boy on his right thigh few minutes away from the kitchen.

The 11 year old is said to be undergoing medical treatment at a local hospital in the area but the perpetrator of the act has not been arrested.

The incident occurred in Kobolia town, Tewor District, Grand Cape Mount County.
