PUL local chapter coordinator refutes bribery allegation against him

Grand Kru County Press Union of Liberia Coordinator has refuted recent media reports regarding him receiving twenty-five thousand Liberian Dollar from Grand kru County Assistant Superintendent for Development as bride to compromise the rights of Liberian Journalists who are members of the Union’s in Grand Kru.

 

The allegation levied against the County PUL Coordinator James Myking Suah were made by Reporters Christopher Kumeh and Emmanuel Koffa on Saturday July 11, 2020 on the Voice of Grand kru. Investigation has established that the two reporters that accused Mr. Suah are not member of the PUL

The County PUL Coordinator James Myking Suah, said the information in the media against him is false, misleading and is intended to tarnish his hard-earned character that they have built for several years.

Mr. Suah indicated that PUL as an umbrella organization that is responsible to adequately advocating and protecting Journalists rights in Liberia, whole in high exstay its integrity, and those engage in unethical practices will not go sky free.

He warned against those practicing media petitioners within the county to desist from spreading falsehood against he and members of the public. Meanwhile, County Press Union of Liberia Official said he remains committed to promoting for the rights of its members and non- members in Grand Kru.
