S Tokpah has threatened to drag to the plenary of the House of Representatives the Minister of Mines and Energy to clarify why the picture of the late mother of President George M. Weah was used on T-shirts printed and used during the introduction of Solway Mining Inc to Nimbains.
During the program making the introduction of Solway Mining Inc. to the people of Nimba County recently, the mining company distributed T-shirts that carried the photo of the late Anna Weah, the mother of President George Manneh Weah.
Speaking to Radio Nimba a local Radio station in Sanniquellie via mobile phone from Monrovia on Wednesday, Rep. Tokpah indicated that he is sensing that the company belongs to someone who is within the Government of Liberia, something he said when confirm shows conflict of interest.
According to Rep. Tokpah, if the company belongs to anyone who is a part of the Liberian government, implementing its social corporate responsibility as company, the government may not clown down hard on herself because of her involvement and connection to the company, adding that it will bring some level of missteps.
