The 173rd Independence Day Orator Rev. Simeon Dunbar says Liberia is deeply rooted into disunity.

Rev. Dunbar said greed of Politicians is the reason for Liberia’s under development.

According to the Liberian Clergy man, children are being raped in the Liberian Society with impunity, accusing policy implementers of not acting accordingly to prevent the act.

The Liberty Christian Center Founder said corruption is the way of life for leaders of Liberia.

It can be recalled, that Staffers at the Liberian National Legislature are protesting over Nine Months Liberian Dollars Salaries that are yet to be paid, notwithstanding , members of that august body are entitled to 45,000 United States Dollars each to purchased vehicles.

He attributed the wave of corrupt practices to past leaders; including the CDC government that is engaged in grim corruption.

The 173rd Independence Orator further said a begging nation is subjected to direction and charged President Weah to change the dependency syndrome.

He claimed that Leadership is the surest way for a better Liberia, noting that such requires leadership.

“In conclusion, for us to stand together in these times, both the Government and the people of Liberia must demonstrate a high level of love and patriotism towards mama Liberia.”

“We are where we are today because of love deficiency. Most Liberians have the mind to use this nation for their own selfish reasons and not to invest in her. They want to use and reduce, not love and build.”

Liberia is poor because of impunity, there is little or no punishment for evil doers and corruption has fast become a way of life. It has eaten deep into the fabric of our society, which also includes the church and other religious organizations”, further stressed.
