The main suspect in the brutal killing and secret burial of a 65-year-old woman, Patricia Juah is undergoing Police Investigation after his arrest.

Patricia Juah was allegedly killed by Philip Sonpso on allegation of witchcraft in Grand Kru County.

Suspect Sonpso was recently arrest by Officer of the Liberia National Police while attending a CDC primary as a delegate in Barclayville City.

The CDC primary was won by the incumbent Senator, Peter S. Coleman, who return to the Party when he said he initially left because malaria ran through his head. He won on white ballot.

Report said after he was arrested, some authorities of the Ruling Coalition for Democratic Change was demanding the release of the alleged suspect and threatened to remove the County Police Commander if he fail to release the suspect.

It has been observed that most often officials of government are in the constant habit of obstructing Justice whenever it involved their partisan.

It can be recalled on May 3,2020 in Gbeta, Grand Kru County where  Police authorities arrested Four persons, Charged  them with Multiple crimes and forwarded them to the Barclayville  magisterial Court for prosecution.

They were charged for murder, aggravated assault, criminal attempt to commit murder, kidnapping, criminal comparicy, among others.

Those who were earlier arrested are Lawrence Teah Doe 32,  Paramount Chief Nagbe Wesseh 55, Koffa Fannieh 26, and Disxon Fannieh age 26.

During Police investigations Josephine Bartu, Patricia Juah, Isaac 

Weah and Comfort Wiah were escorted to an unknown island called River Jolog on order of the Youth of Gbeta Administrative district in Pinicess.

Their decision stand from the fact that the young people were dying too much, making reference to the death of a 25 years old boy identified as Handful.

It was alleged that he felt sick of severe malaria and later died in solobu on Sunday April 26, 2020.

Police Charged sheet is quoting as saying, when the young people were escorting the corpse for a befitting burial, Handful coffin allegedly hit two houses within the areas.

The Police  investigations revealed that after the burial ceremony, the youth headed by its President  Lawrence Teah Doe came back and took  Comfort Wleh and other across River jologbe, about 10 miles away from the town tired her and beat her to death, while the others received severe flogging, that resulted to serious body injuries who later surfaced in  the community alive.  Other in connection of the Crime are at large.

” Only we the young people dying in the in Pinicss for what reason, we have Reported the situation to local authorities, nothing have been done, so we the youth of the community decide to Revenge, said Lawrence Teah Doe Youth leader.

Mr. Doe addmited during police probe that they are responsible for the death of Patricia Juah.

The accident occurred over the weekend in Pinicess Administrative district.

Meanwhile, the matter has been transferred to Maryland County where the Defendants will face trial.
