A Lone Star MTN employee Alleged murderer identified as Augustine Kanneh has been arrested, investigated charged and sent to the Monrovia City Court for onward prosecution.
Defendant Kanneh is alleged of killing the Lone Star MTN employee Armah Kiadii alias ‘Yekeh Kolubah’ on August 3,2020, in Tubmanburg, Bomi County.
The defendant Kanneh was charged with circumstantial murder in line with Chapter 14 Subchapter “A” section 14.1.
Investigation conducted by police disclosed that the deceased Kiadii alias ‘Yekeh Kolubah’ was a private security guard and employee with the Lone Star cell GSM company stationed in Grand Cape Mount County and responsible for monitoring supply of fuel oil delivery to the various Lone Star cell towers within Bomi, Gbarpolu and Grand Cape Mount counties regions.
It was revealed by police during it investigation that Sidike Konneh, Roland S. Quaye and Clarence Geeplay work with the Nexium petroleum supply agency who went to distribute fuel supplies fuel in the locations within those regions with their tanker truck, while suspect Augustine Kanneh is also a private security guard for the protect Co Agency assigned at the Lone Star point of sales (POS) in Tubmanburg City, Bomi County where the incident occurred.
It was established that the three individuals names mentioned above departed Monrovia on their tanker with approximately 3,000 gallons of fuel on Saturday August 1,2020, at 11am began supplying on their way while going in Clay regions and got to Tubmanburg City at night time and they decided to sleep there and continue their journey other areas the following day.
Information further revealed that Armah Kiadii was discovered unconscious in the Lone Star POS fence, where he had gone to sleep with the security assigned at the POS security Augustine Kanneh.
The police in Tubmanburg was alerted by the occupants of the truck that went to distribute fuel about the sad situation and the moved in at the scene and observed that the victim was still alive and later instructed that the victim be taken at the hospital.
When the victim was taken to the hospital by his colleagues, it was observed has toilet in his trosure and his colleagues were told clean him before he can be admitted for treatment something they did.
The deceased was later referred to the JFK for further treatment but reportedly began convulsing on their way to Monrovia but due the critical condition of the deceased, his family turned around with him back to Bomi County where he was pronounced Dead on Arrival (DOA) by doctor on call.
The homicide division of the LNP did external and physical examination on the body which revealed that the deceased sustained a wound at the crown of his head and the family requested for the body for interment at his home town Vonzula, Gola Konneh District, Grand Cape Mount County.
But the investigation establish that there was no confusion among those who went to distribute the fuel prior to the discovery of the unconscious body of their colleague Kiadii.
