The Liberia National Police has launched an investigation into the death of two employees of the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA).
Albert Peters, male and Gutee Lamah, a female were found dead in a packed vehicle early Friday October 2, 2020 morning on Snapper Hill, Broad Street in Center Monrovia.
Police Spokesman Moses Carter wants the public to remain calm as the Liberia National Police established the cause of death.
Mr. Carter said as part of the investigation, the Bodies of the two persons have been deposited at the St. Moses Pallor on the Somalia Drive, Garnerville.
The Bodies of the two LRA employees were confirmed dead by the John F. Kennedy Hospital in Sinkor after Liberia National police took them there for medical confirmation.
However, there are still apprehension in the public whether the two persons death is void of foul play.
On the scene
The vehicle where the bodies were discovered according to reports belongs to Albert Peters who is the Superintendent of LRA but was recently promoted to another that is yet to be known.
While, the female who discovered along with him known as Gutee Lama is a research analyst at the same entity.

Wife of Alberts Peters who was in tears and an employee of International Bank Limited (IB) Broad Street Branch said her husband informed her on Thursday morning that he was going to work but didn’t return home until the morning of Friday October 2,2020.
She told local media in Monrovia that after she had gone to work Friday morning and decided to take a walk down Snapper Hill recognized her husband Albert Peters Jeep and immediately notified the police.
Our reporter quoting the lady said when the police arrived on the scene, the trunk of her husband’s vehicle [car ] was not lock and could easily be lift up along with the back seat.
LPR’s correspondent who witnessed the scene further added that police search the Jeep and met the deceased [Albert] sitting with only underwear on him while Gifty Lama who also died with him was seeing lying down on him with her clothes on.
Police in Monrovia is still investigating what led the of the two revenue authority employees.
But a parking attendance who refused to be named who witnessed the arrival of the two vehicles told reporters that when both Mr. Peters and Mrs. Lama arrived and park their cars, he went and placed his tickets on the two cars.
Many eyewitnesses told Liberia Public Radio Friday afternoon that the two may have been in a romantic relationship before the incident.
Some speaking to our reporter on the scene of mysterious death said it was shameful for a male and female both of whom are reportedly married to die in such ‘unthinkable’ manner.
Many face bookers who have since known Madam Gutee Lama described her as a ‘decent’ woman thus ruling that she may have been in an extra marital affairs with Mr. Albert Peters.
