“Transform your community” Mont. District#9 Rep elect urges Raymond Field Community leadership

Community dwellers of the Raymond Field Community have inducted the leadership of Chairman Eric K. B. Stanley III for the second time in office on Sunday held at the Willie K. Green Memorial School at Barrolle Practice Ground in Airfield Sinkor.

Speaking at the induction ceremony, Representative Elect for District #9 in Montserrado County has challenged community leaders to transform their community development drive for the betterment of the people and the nation at large.

Mr.  Frank Sarah Foko stated that community leaders should develop action plans that could address matters confronting communities in the district for possible solution.

Mr. Foko asserted that it is about time for community dwellers and their leadership to undertake initiatives to transform the development of the people and their areas.

He noted that the empowerment of community dwellers through vocational education will go a long way to prevent unnecessary confusion and unproductive ventures being carryout in more communities across the country.

According to him, lack of vocational and technical skills of the nation human resource developmental drive has created serious social and economic problem for more community dwellers, especially among the youth.

Mr. Foko promised to embark on vocational and technical training programs in various communities in the district when certificated by the National Elections Commission after the case at the Supreme Court of Liberia.

He maintained that Liberians should not expect everything for government at all times, but they should engaged into meaningful ventures that could improve their living standard and the society.

He assured the residents of Raymond Field Community that plans are under way to ensure that the community is electrify as soon as possible.

Mr. Foko warned young people in the community to desist from violence in any form, noting that violence cannot solve any problem.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Raymond Field Community, Mr. Eric K. B. Stanley said his administration will embark on several development project such as erecting the community and sanitation program.

Chairman Stanley stated that during his first term in office, there were various projects implemented such as water, electricity and scholarship programs for students in the community.

He pinpointed that individuals and institutions were able to provide scholarship for students who maintain A and B avarages in schools.

He urged community dwellers to continue  to work with the leadership to improve the development of the community.

Flomo Youth Chairman and Darlington Dukuly Keller Co-Youth Chairman.
