President Weah Breaks ground for Modern Hospital in Grand Bassa

Buchanan, Grand Bassa-President George Manneh Weah has broken to  begin  construction work on a modernize 150 bedrooms hospital in Buchanan Grand Bassa County.

The Grand breaking was done as part of phase -three of the Special Presidential Nationwide Tour.

The Project is also part of the Government of Liberia GOL programme to expand upgrade health facilities in the country to cater to the well-being of its citizens and improve access to quality healthcare.

Speaking at the occasion in Buchanan City, as part of his three-day Presidential visit to the county in a nationwide counties tour, President George Manneh Weah said the project when completed would help address the challenging health needs of the people.

According to the Liberian leader is Government is committed to transforming the livelihood of Liberian and the construction of modern hospitals across the country is just as simple part of his government Pro-Pro agenda for prosperity and Development.

The Liberian leader also described the project as a significant step by his government towards boosting the country’s fragile healthcare delivery system.

He said the facility when fully completed and dedicated will be owned and managed by the government of Liberia GOL for the people of Bassa and nearby counties.

Meanwhile, the Government is reportedly undergoing the construction seven modern hospitals across the Country in line with the pro poor agenda for prosperity and development.
