Liberia: Gorblee Town, G. Bassa to Benefit from Presidential Housing Units

Low-income earners of Gorblee Town-Wayzohn City- Wee Statutory District, Grand Bassa County are to become homeowners, under the President George Manneh Weah Pro-Poor Housing Unit Project.

The Liberian leader disclose in a Townhall meeting in Wee Statutory District, Grand Bassa County as part of his citizens engagement with the people, that the Government of Liberia Pro-Poor housing unit initiative, which seeks to deliver affordable housing pegged, will be expanded in the city of Wayzohn.

President Weah, put smiles on the faces of people of Wee-Statutory district, when announced the construction of 100 housing units in that part of Grand Bassa County for the people.

This comes after President Weah has constructed  and dedicated hundreds of housing units in his native Grand Kru County.

President Weah said his aimed is to decentralized his Government to the people and by doing this is to touch the lives of every Liberian, therefore to improve the livelihood of residents of wayzohn, there will be the construction of a modern -housing unit to replace a misshaped structures and provide for them an appreciable standard of living homes.

Disclosing in a townhall meeting, the President indicated that the Liberia Agency for  Community Empowerment (LACE) will constructs, the proposed 100 housing unit for the people on secure land site.

Recreational center will no longer be a problem for happy kids of Gborblee Town, Wayzohn City, Grand Bassa County.

It came following an intervention from First Lady Clar Marie Weah disclosing plans to construct a children’s play ground in the Town.

At the same time, the Children of Wayzohn are to benefit Recreational center as means of entertaining themselves. President Weah announced through First-lady Clear Marie Weah, instrumentality that a modern recreational center or playground will be built for the children of Gborblee Town as part of The Clar Marie  Hope Foundation project.

The disclosure of constructing a modern recreational center for the children came following an appeal from the Children of Gborblee town.
