Police in Grand Kru county have arrested a man who chopped-off his friend hand following confrontation over a bag of mineral water.
Nimely Toe, 16, chopped-off 17-yearld-old Sedeke Sackor hand late Sunday evening May 16,2021 at a popular gold mine in Flenneken, Upper Barclayville and was arrested on Monday, May 17, 2021
According to our Grand Kru County Correspondent explained that serious argument ensued between the two after victim Sackor had refused to allow Nimely drink a bag from the sack mineral water he (sedeke) purchased.
The decision of Sedeke not to allow Toe to have the one plastic bag of water anger Toe, who rain for Cutlass and chopped-up Sedeke’s hand,
Sedeke who was rushed to the Barclayville Health Center under is said to be under critical condition.
Following his arrest by Police Nimely pleaded with Police not to have him jail, but to allow work and treat his friend, noting that his action was the work of the devil.
Meanwhile the head of the Crime Services Division of the Liberia National Police in Grand Kru County, Maxwell Trawaly, has alarmed over the growing wave of violence in the county but warned that the police will leave no stone unturned in their efforts to combat crimes.
