Story Re-structured by Dyrus Zinnah

Speaking on a local radio in Monrovia Tuesday, Kalaco said in fulfillment of the Liberia National Commissioner on Small law, which provides that anyone wishing to carry firearms should be trained, and license before carrying firearms, he enrolled graduated from the National Police Training Academy with honor in 2018

Kalasco noted that since his graduation from the Police Training Academy he has been carrying firearms.

He noted that it would be a joke for someone to think that people like him close to President not be carrying firearms.

Providing clarity on the matter the Chairman of Liberia National Commission on Small Arms, Maxwell Grisby, noted by authorization of the President, hat anyone in his inner cycle can carry firearms when trained and licensed.

Grisby however failed to state weather Kalasco had been trained by the National Police Training Academy and licensed by the Small Arms Commission to carry firearms on grounds that such information was not for public consumption.

He noted that though the Presidential Aid could be authorized by the President to carry firearms, but asserted displaying firearms without been in uniform was completely wrong.

However, Economic Freedom Fighter of Liberia head Emmanuel Gonquoi said the displaying of firearms by Kalasco he describes a civilian indicates that the country was not safe vowing to purchase a gun or his protection.

Nevertheless, contrary to Gonquoi’s comment Grisby vowed to arrest the EFFL head if he tries to carry illegal firearms.

Accordingly, Kalasco never intended to publicize the 35 round pistol gun.

However, the pistol made its way out as he Kalasco was hanging on one of the presidential convoy vehicles to perform his normal public relation job taking photos of his boss president George Weah while in Voinjama City, Lofa County.

Kalasco was instantly photographed unknowly and published on Social media.

Barrage of criticism for his action has flooded the social web.
