Sen. Protemp Chie accuses Ant-graph agents of leaking sensitive information to journalists

Recently an instigation by the Daily Observer unveils how NEC spent more than USD$182K approved by the PPCC

The President Pro Tempore of the Liberian Senate, Albert T. Chea warns  Agents of Anti-graph institutions  to desist sharing  information with Journalists for the public consumption. 
 
Chie said, he blames the public procurement  Concession  Commission  (PPCC) and the  Liberia Anti-corruption Commission( LACC) over the recent public   reactions  on the article published  indicating that  the National Elections Commission  spent the Amount of $182,320.00 US  to rent 20 pieces of facial recognition device “thermometer” from Tuma enterprise .
 
Speaking at the the first day of Public Procurement Concession Commission  Third Annual   Forum  at the Ministerial Complex in Monrovia  on Wednesday December, 1,2021. He calls for immediate and effective  collaboration within the Anti-graph Agencies  to refrain  sharing information with Journalist. 
 
“Agencies  are linking confidential information to media  and written in news paper ,which shows they  are  lacking  complete collaboration” the Liberia Senate Pro-Tempory  asserted. 
 
However,  President Weah graced (PPCC)  for working with their Anti-graph partners  to restore some confidence and encouraged  them to continue their  work by  bringing  integrity  to the highest esteem in Liberia.
 
According  to the President, all anti- graph institutions have being given more attention by his administration, at such thy are being allotted  adequate  budgetary support to carry out their responsibilities. 
 
He warns (PPCC) to never prioritize one group  against others and noted,  he will not accept any process that will hinder the interest of an ordinary Liberia and 
assure them  with his  fullest support to the end.
Recently the daily Observer published a story that unveiled how the NEC spent more than US$182,000.00 to rent 20 pieces face-recognition system thermometer set.
