Monrovia, Liberia A Liberia Diplomat has disclosed  that his 7-year old daughter was allegedly rape by individuals at the Liberian Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria.

The Minister Counselor for Press and Public Affairs Nat Bayjay said the little girl was sexually assault for seven months by two men on the premises of the embassy.

Bayjay claimed the act was done multiple times and their guidance, who is a diplomatic colleague, has not shown remorse since the disclosure.

According to him, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Information is on top of the case but the medical treatment of the child is abandoned without any help.

Addressing a press conference in Monrovia on Monday, he called on President George Weah to intervene as the condition of his daughter is deteriorating.

The Minister Counselor for Press and Public Affairs noted the child is out of school due to the act meted against her.

 President George Weah, on September 11, 2020 has since declared rape a national emergency after intense anti-rape protest.
