Côte d’Ivoire announces overflights of military aircraft between Abidjan and Jacqueville

The government of Cote d’Ivoire has announced on Monday, January 17, 2022 in Abidjan about what appears to be “an overflights of its military aircraft” to be observed between Abidjan and Jacqueville on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

The information contained in a press statement which came from the Ivoirian Armed Forces Information and Press Office on Monday.

The statement explains that it is a training of the Armed Forces of Côte d’Ivoire and the American Command of Special Operations for Africa.

The exercise that will be carried out as a prelude to a multinational military exercise to be held on the site of the International Academy for the Fight against Terrorism next February 2022, the statement concludes.

The Armed Forces Information and Press Office reassures the populations that these aircraft movements will not disturb their activities and therefore invites them to continue going about their normal businesses.
