29 people fear dead at a church Crusade stampede in Monrovia

At least 29 people have feared dead following a stampede at a sport pictch in a densely populated New Kru Town district.


According to report, the incident occurred at about 11pm local time on Wednesday when thugs from the slum community in New Kru town began hijacking those who had attended the crusade.

The news of that thugs commonly known as “Zogo” in Liberia were taking things away from people went wide as all those who attended the crusade on their way home went head-scatter thus killing several and wounding hundreds more.

A lawmaker of the district Dixon Seboe told OK FM that he has counted up to 28 bodies; 18 adults and 12 children. Representative Seboe added that additional 3 deaths were being reported at the Redemption hospital early on Thursday.

The organizer of the Crusade, pastor Abraham Kromah is a popular charismatic preacher who services are usually  attended   many.
