Monrovia City chief probes over unruly conduct

The City Government of Monrovia has with immediate effect suspended it’s Director of the Monrovia City Police, Thomas Garwo, Jr indefinitely for what it described as “disorderly conduct” carried out by him in the last few hours.
 
Director Garwo according to a release unilaterally took unto himself the authority to stall movement of several peaceful citizens when he parked his vehicle behind theirs, switched off his phone and walked away obstructing movement of citizens for several hours.
 
Citizens according to the MCC had to place several phone calls and engagements as Garwo appeared to be unavailable for several hours on grounds he had disagreements with someone in that area.
The MCC has condemned the actions of it’s former Director of Police and has called for a speedy investigation into the actual cause of the matter for further actions.

“We apologize to all who were affected and their activities halted by this disorderly action, and misuse of power by Director Garwo and we have also called for speedy investigation into the actual cause for further actions” the Monrovia City Mayor Jefferson Tamba Koijee pleads.

Director Garwo is expected to forwarded  for investigation and subsequent court trial.
