Former Bong County Supt. Ranney Jackson who is aspiring for the Bong Senatorial seat in 2023

Former Bong County superintendent Ranney B. Jackson has called  on Citizens of Bong County to unite for fostering development as he is ready to lead Bong County Senatorial seat Comes 2023.

Mr.Jackson who served as superintendent of Bong County( April 2006-2011), he frustratingly expressed his disappointment about how Bong County is underdeveloped amid huge support from county  development and County social development fund from government and corporate companies respectively.

The county receives around $2.2million USD yearly as County Social Development Funds from concession companies and the national government and  $200,000 USD from central government.

China Union provides $1.75million USD annually, while ArcelorMittal provides $500,000 USD , and MNG Gold provides $12,000 USD while the County still remains underDevelop.

Former superintendent Jackson told our correspondent that he has the expertise and experience to lead the people of Bong County at the Liberian senate and unite everyone.

Mr. Jackson who holds PhD in Public Policy and Administration, said he is prepared to take the county to another level in terms of development by instituting  good policies at the Liberian senate when elected.

He at the same expressed dissatisfaction over disunity in the legislative caucus of the adding any individual that lacks the skills to unite the caucus and the county must not be elected.

“One thing that has been the cause of disunity in the Caucus is that we know the person wishing to go into the Caucus has problems with some people in the Caucus but still we vote for such a person.  How will such a person carry unity into the Caucus”, he wonders.

“Secondly, what expertise are those running to go into the senate taking there with them? The House is not a place to have people with no expertise”, Mr. Jackson told Liberia Public Radio.

I promise to be the light again as l did 2006-2011 to Bong County Development agenda, if l am elected comes 2023 General and presidential Election as Senator of Bong County to Represent the people of Bong county to the House of Elders Mr.Jackson Lamented.

Mr. Jackson, also said the senate is a place to work for your people and not a place to rest or get rich. You want to get rich, go into business,

The senate is not a business place where people go to get rich.

Senators represent the county at international forums, how are we represented in those forums by people who have no expertise in any area? If you look at my achievements in Bong County, I did more in five years (April 2006 – January 2011) than those people did in nine years, 12 years and six years coming.

How can Bong County keep giving positions to people who have failed the County,
