The standard Bearer of the Liberian People’s Party Cllr. Tiawon s. Gongloe and his newly selected running mate Dr. Emmanuel Urey Yarkpawolo say they will not relent to punish would-be corrupt officials if elected president and vice president of Liberia respectively.
They described corrupt officials as wicked people don’t deserve to good living condition but jail house.
Making remark when he was officially unveiled as running mate to cllr. Tiawon S. Gongloe recently in Gbarnga Bong County, Dr. Yarkpawolo added that they will the Monrovia Central Prison compound will get overcrowded if any of their cabinent member are involved into corruption.
“South Beach will get pack, we will jail any corrupt official, because they don’t deserve good”, Dr. Yarkpawolo told the gathering.
At the occasion, Dr. Emmanuel Urey Yarkpawolo who had earlier declared his intention as representative of electoral district #4 noted that he never taught of contesting as a vice presidential candidate until being tipped by Cllr. Gongloe.
Dr. Urey-Yarkpawolo feels Liberia is not progressing because of the rampant corruption, promising to combat it.
Meanwhile Cllr. Gongloe said the search of an indelible character as running mate is now at rest.
He told Liberians at the Gbarnga Administration building that Dr. Yarkpawolo as a trained educator who has served Liberia and the world is a man of integrity and such they will “sweep corruption out of Liberia when elected.” .
Cllr. Gongloe also promised to transform Liberia’s education and health sectors that for too long citizens have cried due to the lack of drugs at public health facilities.
The LPP arrowhead says with his presence at the executive mansion, he will also tackle the poor road network and resuscitate the Country’s economy.
The presidential aspirant also promised to protect past and present government officials who have stolen from the country.
Under a Gongloe and Yarkpawolo’s leadership, he says there will be equal distribution of resources.
