A 16-year-old girl from the American International School of Monrovia (AISM) is expected to launch her first poetry book this Friday in Monrovia.

A fresh and vibrant voice has emerged in the world of literature, as Ms. Prutuslyn Sackie prepares to launch her debut book “Teenage Musings” on Friday, September 13, 2024.

This inspiring event will take place at the American International School of Monrovia (AISM), Liberia, marking a significant moment in the blossoming literary career of this young talent. Born in 2008, Prutuslyn Sackie, a passionate lover of the arts and fashion, is setting a bold new course   in   a   society   where   reading   and   writing   are often   overshadowed by the lack of attention.

 Her   remarkable achievements at such a young age point to the rise of a future trailblazer—one who is already beginning to change the world around her. Currently a 12th grader at AISM, Ms. Sackie views literature as a powerful tool for exploring her thoughts, emotions,  and the intricacies   of daily life.
