Barnersville Township, Montserrado County — With humility, gratitude, and a renewed sense of purpose, Stephen Kofa, Executive Chairman of the People United Community (PUC), has pledged to deepen development efforts and strengthen unity as he embarks on his second term in office.
Speaking during his induction ceremony, Chairman Kofa attributed the community’s progress and peace to divine guidance, expressing thanks to God Almighty for enabling residents to witness what he called a “historic moment.”
“Your decision to renew my mandate is more than a vote of confidence,” he told attendees. “It is a powerful statement that we are united in purpose, driven by vision, and ready to continue building a community we can all be proud of.”
Reflecting on Achievements
Chairman Kofa recounted key accomplishments from his first term, including Strengthening block leadership structures, enhancing transparency and accountability in resource management, and promoting unity, cultural identity, and civic engagement
Mr. Kofa outlined a bold agenda focused on Unity and Peaceful Coexistence, leadership Development, entrepreneurship, Skills Training for Youth and Women, and Community as well as development and Infrastructure expansion
He emphasized collaboration with local authorities to improve roads, sanitation, and security, while reinforcing transparency and accountability in all community operations.
“These priorities are designed to foster a stronger, more cohesive community,” he said.
Having run unopposed, Chairman Kofa described his re-election as a “sacred trust” and vowed to deliver tangible results. He called on residents to actively support community initiatives.
