Israel hits Gaza hospital, killing at least 15 people, including 4 journalists

At least three Palestinian journalists were among the 14 people killed in an Israeli attack on a hospital in southern Gaza.

Doctors report that there is little they can do to prevent children from dying of starvation due to the famine engineered by Israel in Gaza.

According to  Al Jazeera news network, the  Israeli army has intensified its attacks on large parts of the Zeitoun and Sabra neighborhoods of Gaza City as it continues its plan to seize the city and force the population to move south.

The journalists killed include  Hossam Al-Masri, Mohammed Salama, Mariam Abu Daqa, and Moaz Abu Taha. They were all working for international media organizations.

In Yemen, the Houthis reported that at least six people were killed and 86 others were wounded in Israel’s attacks on the capital, Sanaa, which targeted the presidential palace and energy facilities.

Since the beginning of the conflict, Israel has killed at least 62,622 people and wounded 157,673 in its war on Gaza. A total of 1,139 people were killed in Israel during Hamas-led attacks on October 7, 2023, with more than 200 taken captive.

One reporter was quoted on Al Jazeera website as saying Palestinian journalist reporting from hospitals, I can say that we are in a two-year war where we have been deprived of electricity and internet access. Palestinian journalists are using these services at hospitals to continue reporting.

.“We consistently follow cases of wounded Palestinians, funerals, and malnutrition, as these individuals are often transferred to hospitals. As a result, Palestinian journalists have made hospitals their base, which unfortunately makes them targets”, said Hind Khoudary, reporting from Deir el-Balah, Gaza
