Liberia Public Radio has received reports indicating that Grand Gedeh County Attorney, Cllr. E. Wilkins Nah, has been suspended indefinitely. While the Ministry of Justice has yet to issue an official statement, sources close to the matter suggest the suspension stems from recent controversies surrounding Cllr. Nah’s public remarks and his handling of legal affairs in the county.
The precise reasons for the suspension remain unclear, as no formal communication has been released by the relevant authorities. Unconfirmed accounts point to growing concerns over Cllr. Nah’s approach to sensitive legal issues, including his involvement in disputes over land lease agreements in Bhai District—a matter that recently drew public attention.
Cllr. Nah has long been regarded as a key legal figure in Grand Gedeh, often at the forefront of high-profile cases and community legal engagements.
Attempts to reach both the Ministry of Justice and Cllr. Nah for comment have so far been unsuccessful.
This is a developing story. Liberia Public Radio will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available.
