flash back: Rep Yekeh Kolubah supporters at his residence in April

Supporters of Montserrado county District #10 Representative Yekeh Kolubah who have assembled at his residence in Monrovia say they will resist arrest threat issued by Liberian ex-military generals to surrender him to them in 72 hours.

The Ex-military generals issued the warning to Montserrado District 10 Representative Yekeh Kolubah on Tuesday after the lawmaker failed to respond to citation issued him Monday by Montserrado county attorney to clarify statement he made against President George Weah on Sunday.

Representative Yekeh Kolubah supporters who gathered early Wednesday morning told LPR correspondent in the area they are prepared for any arrest attempt from the ex-generals will be met with strong resistance.

The lawmaker has been critical on the Weah led government for what he termed ‘bad governance’.

“We will remain here until we can see the so-called former generals”, said Sumo Kollie, a supporter of Representative Kolubah. According to Sumo, he  and his colleagues have decided to remain at the residence of Rep Kolubah to protect him against any unlawful arrest.

It is however unclear whether the lawmaker will be indicted by government or effectuate  arrest warrant on him for his recent comments.
