Sen. Prince Plans to withdraw support to Weah

Liberian warlord turned politician Nimba County senator, Prince Yormie Johnson has threatened to withdraw his support for the CDC administration.

 Senator Prince Johnson was a key factor to the success of Presiding George Weah presidency during the second round of the 2017 general and presenditial elections.

 He was in 2017 accused of soliciting over US$30,000.00 allegedly given by former president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to support current President George Manneh Weah.

Johnson who is also a preacher of the gospel speaking to his congregation on Sunday at his church in paynesville outside Monrovia, disclosed that he will travel to Nigeria to consult his God in order to determine whether to continue supporting Weah. 

It can be recalled that Johnson  famous Ganta Declaration brought more political appetite that led  to the massive defeat of the former ruling Unity Party in 2017.

It seems to be like things are not working in the working in the interest of the Nimba County senator who religiously campianed for the Collation for Democratic change during the second round. 

Senator Johnson who is considered as the political god father of Nimba once took to the media calling on his kinsman to join the CDC or his Movement for Democracy and Reconstruction Party (MDR) to have the opportunity to gain employment in government under the Weah administration. 

The Nimba County senator and Rev. further lamented that Weah has refused to return to his Prince Johnson godfather TB Josiah in Nigeria.

Senator Johnson maintained that he will travel to Nigeria to consult with his godfather for consultation whether to withdraw his support or not. 

He used the occasion and called on President Weah to stop living like a child and think like a man and live like a leader. 

“There are people around the president who are not helping him in the discharge of this country.”

The controversial senator also cautioned the president to stop the too much merry making and womanizing adding that most women are demon possessed. 

Senator Prince Johnson voice out his frustration about the country hash economic conditions claiming that President Weah should stand like a good leader to find solutions to the problem.
