Nimba Businessman donates to vacation job program

A prominent Businessman in Nimba County, Tomah Seh Floyd Sr. has donated one hundred thousand Liberian dollars to empower Nimba Students seek education. 

The presentation was made through an appeal from the office of the Ministry of Youth and Sports County Coordinator William S. Mandein who is also steering the affairs of vacation job to ensure that student get finance to return to school during this difficult economic period. 

Making the donation, Mr. Floyd Sr said the gesture was his own way of giving back to the community and county and to ensure that the human resources capacity development of the county can grow. 

Tomah Seh Floyd is the chief Executive Officer of the Jungle Water Group of Investment Company in Nimba County with branches in other parts of Liberia. 

Floyd who is well known in the county not only for his business, but his humanitarian services disclosed that his love for Nimba County and the development of young people is immeasurable. 

Receiving the amount on behalf of the 2019/2020 steering committee of the vacation job, William S. Mandein appreciated Mr. Floyd for his gesture saying the donation has boosted the vacation job and created more opportunities for young people. 

Mandein who descried the businessman as a development giant and a youth mentor applauded Floyd for   his continue support towards youth development and other initiative in the county. 

The Ministry of youth and Sports County Coordinator also said that Floyd’s donation has added flavor to the vacation job and will absorb more students than previously  thought of.
