A suspended partisan of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change, Jamima Wolokollie is demanding the party’s Chairman Mulbah K. Morlu, Jr. to offer her apology for his unwarranted insults against her.

Madam Wolokollie said she has done nothing to deserve insults coming from Chairman Morlu and some young Cdcians who according to do not know much about the party.

The National Executive Committee of the Congress for Democratic Change with immediate effect suspended the membership of Madam Jemima Wolokolie for alleged extortion of money, corruption,  and for being the criminal mastermind-in-chief in the unauthorized running of a fake loan scheme.

According to a press release issued by the party on Tuesday evening in Monrovia, the party disclosed that the act suspiciously orchestrated was intended to tarnish the party’s ethical image and disintegrate its ranks.

The alleged activities of suspended partisan Wolokolie, who recently rejoined the CDC after several years of support to the Unity Party, is grave, criminal, dangerous and unbecoming of a party member, the release said.

The statement furthered that her acts of lawlessness and rebel-works every time she leaves and return, remain preserved in the archives of the Grievance and Ethics Section of the party.

The release further disclosed that in May of 2018 suspended partisan Jemima Wolokolie, subjected the Chairman and Members of the National Executive Committee of the CDC to senseless verbal insults in the aftermath of her suspension by the President for ‘Insubordination and “unprofessional ism”; and, in 2012 she calculatingly made public appearances on ELBC Radio where she in no uncertain terms rejected the CDC as a viable democratic pathway, and out-rightly demeaned the Standard-Bearer Amb. George M. Weah as ‘Unfit for the Presidency’.

“In light of these acts of systematic and wanton disregard for law and order, the National Executive Committee of the CDC swiftly moves to send suspended partisan Jemima Wolokolie to the Grievance and Ethics Committee for speedy investigation and/or prosecution, and is authorized to employ its constitutional premises  to  begin, complete and submit findings within a 30-days statutory period as laid down within the framework of the byelaws and constitution of the  CDC.”

The Congress for Democratic Change is Liberia’s current ruling party.

The National Executive Committee of the CDC makes clear that it’ll not countenance counter-progressive and rebellious activities within the ranks of the CDC and promises to relentlessly pursue and dismantle sleeper cells of gangs and culprits of chaos and disorder, irrespective of the depth or width of their influence.

Unwarranted insults?

In response to her suspension, Mrs, Jamima Wolokollie told a press conference Tuesday that CDC’s Chairman Mulbah Morlu should offer apology to her for the verbal insults he rained on her.

According to madam Wolokollie, she as a founding member of the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC)  has been striving  to see the party remain supreme but  insults coming from Morlu and younger partisans  was unwarranted.

She added that chairman Morlu as a young person was given the opportunity to lead the party for the betterment for every partisan and should not misuse such golden opportunity.

Madam Wolokollie recently establish a new auxiliary of the CDC in order to draw more new supporters to the party with the approval of the party standard bearer George Manne Weah. But the new auxiliary was reportedly created in the absence of chairman Mulbah Morlu thereby provoking his anger.
