Nimba county soccer team Friday January 10, 2020  morning concluded her last practice session ahead of a do or die game with Bong County on Saturday at the Voinjama sport pitch in the ongoing national county meet.

The Mount Nimba boys last warm up session focused on goal scoring tactics and short on goal by the team with main focus on attackers.

In an interview with LPR’s Daniel Garteh at the end of the training session, one of Nimba attackers Kulah Gorloryorn said they have put behind them their defeat to Lofa and now focus on Saturday’s match to qualify the county.

Attacker Gorloryorn who is yet to register his name on the score sheet in this year county meet, assured his fans and supporters of Nimba that he is of the conviction that he will score 2 goals against his native home Bong.

Nimba Captain Isaac Dayweah for his part said his focus is to make ensure that Nimba leave Lofa with nothing less than a victory.

Captain Dayweah further said they are ready to go all out for win against neighboring Bong and will fight to do so.

Coach Moucttar Fofana has disclosed that his camp is injury free and his boys are in high gear to win Saturday’s match.

Fofana said that he is very optimistic of a win on Saturday  having observed Bong against Lofa on January 8.

He is meanwhile calling of Nimbains not to lose hope about their qualification while at the same time calling on Nimbaians who are in the position of coming to Voinjama to come in their numbers and support their boys.

The Nimba technician said after observing Bong against Lofa on January 8, he has deployed new tactics to ensure that his boys collect all 3 points from Bong to reach the carpet.

He said Nimba as a big county did not come to the tournament to be a mere participant, but to reach the carpet and lift this year’s trophy.
