Nimba Kwado players justify for spot on Lonstar U- 20 team

Nimba Kwado FC captain and central defender Josephus Mantor along with four others from Nimba progress to the next stage of the on going justification of the Liberia less than 20 team.

 

Nimba County produce recently over 19 young players from various club teams including Nimba Kwado FC, Selewon FC of Sanniquellie, Heaven Eleven of Yekepa, and newly promoted 2nd division Almighty FC of Ganta to participate in the ongoing justification for the under 20 national team. 

As Liberia is gearing up to form part of the West Africa Football Association (WAFU) U 20 tournament in Guinea, several young players were call from around the country to justify their inclusion on the team. 

But Nimba was one county sending more players after the senior nation team head Coach Peter Bulter recently held an U-20 tournament to select players to be a part of the country U 20 team. 

Players hailing from Nimba who have progressed to the next stage of the ongoing justification including experienced and 2018/2019 2nd division best defender Josephus Mantor captain of Nimba Kwado FC, goalkeeper Junior Yeanah of Selewon FC who missed an opportunity to travel with the National Team to Egypt due to lack of passport, Midfielder Mike Dokie among others.

The players are among others competing for their inclusion to the 18 players needed to make Coach Robert Lartay alias Paleh team to travel to Guinea.
