A man believed to be in his 60s identified as Joseph Zinnah has died in Blon-mu, Bong County in central Liberia, after his son missed a goal during a local football league organized by incumbent Senator Henry Yallah.

According to Information gathered from the county, Mr. Zinnah has been following every step of the community league, because of his 20-year-old son, Noah Zenneth’s participation.

Mr. Zenneth is said to have followed his son’s engagement in Blon-mu on Saturday October 3, 2020 to watch the football game.

But when his son missed the first and second goals, his father (Zinnah) yelled and continued watching the game.

The son of the deceased again made an attempt to score another goal, but the ball was saved by goalkeeper, thinking that his son had scored the goal, not knowing that he missed it.

Immediately, the father of the striker (Mr. Zinnah) shouted and immediately dropped to the ground and gave up the ghost

Liberia Public Radio National Correspondent in Bong County said match was between Miamu and Blon-mu, when the sad incident happened some fifteen minutes into the game, when Noah Zenneth missed the goal.

Meanwhile Mr. Zenneth has since been buried in the county .
